Step 1 - Who Am I Calling

We work very hard, especially for those new to making phone calls to group similar types of calls together to make it easier to make those phone calls.  They type of person you are calling makes all the difference in the world.  
We want to learn everything we can about the types of people we are calling as possible.  The more we know about those we're calling the better results we'll produce.  

There are many types of industries we can call and/or specific types of calls to make.  An industry would be like calling CPA's/accountants.  If we're calling CPA's, Realtors, mortgage professionals or a specific type of person in a specific type of industry it's helpful to know as much as possible about that industry.  One way to learn about specific industries is to go through some overview videos on an industry.

As E-VA's (Executive Virtual Assistants) we do not get paid for training or study on an industry so you may ask "Why do we spend time in study if we don't get paid for that time?"  That's a great question.  As an E-VA who owns our own business, we really get paid, in the end, for results we produce.  The better we know the industry, type of individual, how they think and act, etc. the more productive our phone calls will be.

The more productive our phone calls are the more clients we get and the more money we will earn.
The other types of calls to make are TOPIC types of calls.  Examples of these types of calls would be the Roundtable  and/or White Paper calls.  Roundtables are events that individuals register for and share their biggest challenges.  Roundtable calls are designed to get people to attend and to gain a better understanding of their biggest challenges and ideally schedule an appointment with someone in Area 3: The Sale.
